Speedplay: World Soccer
Game Overview:
World Soccer is an awesome free Flash game built on a realtime 3D engine. The gameplay programming is very responsive and engaging allowing you to control the field using only the mouse. The currently selected player is highlighted by a star and will run in the direction of the mouse cursor. Change players by pressing the mouse button when the other team has the ball.
The controls are intuitive which makes scoring goals a lot easier. There is a full spread of teams to choose from with varying attributes. The computer AI, including the goaltenders, are also cleverly programmed and handle the ball well. This increases the replay value of the game.
Controls / How To Play:
Use mouse to move target cursor and player.
When the player is off the ball, press the mouse button to change player or slide tackle.
When the player has the ball, use the mouse button to pass or shoot towards the cursor target.
