Game Overview:
Throughout the land, there exists a few highly guarded relics that are imbued with magical powers. Begin a journey as a team of hired mercenaries to help retrieve one such relic, the mouth piece of a horn which was stolen in a raid by a group of bandits. Click on the menu button to see complete details about the characters, save the game, use items, and set equipment.
Relic is a complete RPG adventure game that takes advantage of many features available on the Flash platform. This includes a control method which uses the mouse in combination with the movement keys to navigate the game and engage in battles. Relic stays true to the style of classical RPG's with a turn based combat system integrated with attack recharge timers for the characters. This can be upgraded with the speed attribute.
Your party comes fully stocked with five members, each representing a unique character class such as warrior, archer and mage. The artwork is really well done, and includes colorful backgrounds and tons of keyframed character animation. The battle perspective is a three-quarter overhead view which is rarely seen in a RPG. Your quests are guided by the various NPC's whose dialogue and images are finely detailed.
