Test your reflexes in this arkanoid clone. Breakaway features a host of levels divided into five sub-categories which can be accessed from the main menu. All of the familiar power ups and helpers are included in this decent arcade remake.
Your score is based on a number of factors including score multipliers and an overall time bonus. Arcade mode plays through all levels within a category, and single level allows the player to select and play any level within the game.
Some of the levels also contain new gameplay elements such as falling icicles that freeze your paddle momentarily. The angles are precise and it it relatively easy to control the ball in the direction you want to go.
