Game Overview:
The coveted Greenwood Jewel has been stolen from its rightful place in the village oak tree. It's purpose is to bless and protect Greenwood Village from harm. Start your journey into the Ashwood Forest to attempt to track down the thieves before the villagers lose hope in recovering their sacred idol.
Epic Battle Fantasy 4 is a step up from most free games in terms of the quality and quantity of artwork and animated characters. All aspects of the party members can be upgraded including weapons, skills, and magical abilities. Explore the world map while leveling up after battles. Uncover special warp animals that let the player quickly travel back and forth between different zones. The fighting is turn based like classic RPG games.
The developer is more than generous with the amount of items, equipment, and skills to refine. Every item and weapon includes detailed stats which relate to their elemental offensive and defensive upgrades. Elements deal with the powers of Earth, Fire, Water, Thunder, etc. All enemies are related to these elements so choosing the correct attacks which leverage elemental power can reduce enemy HP much more quickly.
Talk to the villagers to see what items they are searching for and gain upgrades by helping them. Found items can also be used in the Forge to increase the capabilities of equipment. The battles are really well balanced and there are boss fights at the end of each zone. AP points awarded after a successful fight can upgrade magical skills and specials for each team member.
