Road of Fury
Game Overview:
Set up a convoy of three vehicles in an attempt to cross the desert landscape. This Mad Max style driving game offers many different vehicles which are outfitted with their own special weapons and abilities. Some vehicles have machine guns and rocket launchers, and some have defensive capabilities such as energy shields and physical barriers.
The game starts with a single vehicle and money is awarded for the distance traveled through each run. After each round, spend money upgrading the current vehicle, or purchase new cars. There are a plethora of Mad Max inspired enemy contraptions which include flying and ground based combat weapons.
The controls are very simple and require the player to direct the stream of firepower toward targets using the mouse. Some vehicles have special weapons such as airstrike which are launched by pressing the 1, 2, or 3 number keys. These specials regenerate if they are upgraded at the shop.
Progress along the landscape is shown by the distance markers on the mini-map. Your previous attempt is also shown. Depending the type of vehicles purchased and their relative positions in the convoy, there are a wide array of combinations which may or may not be beneficial to long term survival.
Controls / How To Play:
Use the mouse to aim the vehicle guns.
Press 1, 2, or 3 to launch special strikes if available.
