American Racing
Game Overview:
Compete in a stock car racing circuit by choosing races from the calendar and upgrading the car with prize money. There are several different game types that include racing, slalom, and collecting balloons. The important races are 12 championship league challenges which rank all the cars for the season.
Up to 50 cars can be racing at one time, and there are a wide variety of tracks to choose from. As you progress by winning races, your team will get sponsored and the potential prize money will increase exponentially. Build up the boost meter by drafting behind other cars in the race. Light collisions are allowed, but too much may cause the car to spin out.
Use the boost by pressing the spacebar, shift or the X key. This offers a slight speed advantage while engaged, but be careful to stay on the road because there is a significant slow down for going off the track. An overview of the map and car positions is shown on the minimap, so waiting for a straight-away to use the nitro is advised.
