Game Overview:
Protect your pile of gold from the invading barbarians by setting up archers and soldiers to defend it. Each round has a timer countdown which represents how long the wave lasts. The opponents soldiers are launched from their flag(s) and they typically have multiple routes of access to the gold.
The player starts a level with a predetermined amount of money to spend on deploying soldiers. More money is awarded for each barbarian defeated on the battlefield. Placement of your deployments is crucial to their effectiveness, since each archer has a line of sight and background obstacles to consider.
There are several different types of defensive units each costing a certain amount of money and utilize a specific fighting style. The battle animations are well done and can get quite complex at times with realistic swordplay and melee combat. A few game modes offer additional replay value.
Controls / How To Play:
Arrow Keys or Mouse Button = Pan View
PGUP, PGDN or Mousewheel = Scale View
Spacebar = Pause Game
