Game Overview: Ancient Planet is an incredibly detailed tower defense game with high quality 3D isometric graphics. Play through 45 levels consisting of multiple waves of invading armies. Complete successful missions with high honors to earn more purple gem stones to spend on upgrades.
There are three different types of currency to be accumulated and used during gameplay. Silver is used to construct weapon defense towers. Gold is for purchasing and upgrading mining towers which provide more silver. Gold is also used to buy optional defensive fortifications along the path such as brick walls and land mines.
Keep an eye on your mining towers to collect the silver as they create it. Gold coins are left on the road from battle and are picked up with the mouse. The third type of currency are purple gems which are provided after battle and used for permanent upgrades to your base and towers. Extra gems are awarded for 5 or more gold coins remaining.
The developers were nice enough to include an in-game tutorial and easier starting levels to help learn the game. Progress is saved automatically in one of the three save spots so please refresh the page if the game gets stuck.
